About Us.
Corinne Garlick and Peter Karas are two visual artists working and living in London Ontario, Canada.
Corinne grew up in southern Ontario, and has always had an interest in painting and the visual arts. She attended Beal high school in London Ontario, before going to Halifax to study at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Corinne has spent the past twelve years working full time as an artist, painting what she loves – people in all their glorious diversity.
Peter grew up out west, on Vancouver Island. He attended the University of Victoria and received a BFA in visual arts in 1996. He has painted on both coasts, and pretty much everywhere in between (well….. almost). Along with his lovely wife, he has also spent the last twelve years painting full-time, although he is more focused on architectural subjects, and whimsical scenes.
For the past five years Peter and Corinne have devoted some time to teaching as well, they currently offer a variety of classes at Fanshawe College’s Continuing Education department.
