This post is just to say thank you to all the kind people we met over the weekend at the London Artist Studio Tour.

We really appreciate all the visitors we had, all the connections we made, and selling a few paintings as well. It’s so reaffirming to get all the positive feedback from all of you over the last few days. Many new faces came through our doors, and lots of old friends dropped by as well. A big thank you to each and every one of you.

Art is a largely a solitary pursuit, and can lead to long periods of quiet, contemplative retreat from society. It isn’t easy to know if you’ve connected to your audience, or if they just don’t get what it is you’re trying to say with the brushes. Having such a warm and encouraging response from all of you is quite gratifying.

So thanks for a wonderful weekend!

It is that time of year again, the London Artist Studio Tour!

Peter and I are excited about this year’s Studio Tour.  Both of our girls are in school this year which has given us a chance to both be in the studio and really focus on our art!  So our house is going to be FULL of art to see.  We are excited for you to come and experience it.
