Aeolian Hall Art Show

Peter and I are getting into all kinds of things these days and one of them is an art show at the Aeolian Music Hall.  Wednesday night is the opening night which should be lots of fun!  From 6:30pm-8:30pm  Come on out to see some amazing local talent!

Aeolian Holiday Art Exhibit Opens November 28: Artists from 2012 Return for Encore Installation


London, Ontario, CANADA  From November 28, 2012 to January 20, 2013, The Aeolian is pleased to welcome back 28 artists, who have participated in exhibits at the Hall throughout the year 2012. Each artist will have one work of art on display and available for sale.


Returning artists include: Betty Bartlett, Helen Bezeau Kajan, Sarah Cowling, Kit Cutting, Leann Dickson, Marion Drysdale, Corinne Garlic, Catherine GoodmurphyJoanna GooderWendy CakarnisPeter KarasJim KoudinisDorothy MacfarlaneSandi McCabeMonica Meunier, Erin Natalie, Christine NewlandCheryl OBeverley Payne, Lynne PinchinHelen Simpson, Sheila SmithWayne SmithJudy StirlingRick SturgeonCheryl van der MarkPersis Willis, andJacqueline Wojtowich.


The OPENING RECEPTION will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Aeolian Hall.  This is a great opportunity to meet the artists and purchase the art. Light snacks and refreshments will also be served. There is a cash bar. Everyone is welcome to this free event.


The exhibit runs until January 20, 2013 and the art is available for viewing during all events with additional viewing hours on Monday to Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. To view the art in the Hall during weekdays, please see staff in the Dundas Street box office for access. When artwork sells, 30% of the sale goes go directly to the Aeolian Hall Musical Arts Association. Patrons may take the art work home as soon as it is paid for.


In addition to raising funds for the Hall, the Aeolian is dedicated to promoting and supporting new and established artists in the community, and provide an opportunity for visual and performing artists to come together under one roof for the benefit of the patrons.
