The Dick and Jane Art Co.

We went to Bayfield this weeekend, and set up our paintings on the strip for their annual Sail and Canvas event. We had a blast, met some nice folks, and barely evaded a torrential downpour!

It was nice to reconnect with our old friend, Jim Taleski and his wife Linda. Jim is a longtime artist in the southern Ontario scene, and they both are the owners of Main Street Gallery. They will be taking on some of our work for display – so if you happen to make it up to the Bayfield, Goderich, Grand Bend area go have a look at all the fine art they have on offer.

There are times when we are just running to keep up with things in life with a 2 year old and a 4 year old and art to make.  It is hard to slow down at times and see just how good life is.  Peter and I share our time in the studio as well as sharing being with the girls….. in my eyes this is truly the best of both worlds.   The Studio Tour Show was yet again a great success in many ways!! The photos are just to give you a glimpse of what the show looked like!  So thankful that we can make our living as artists and to be able to enjoy our children at such an exciting time in life!

This coming weekend is our first time showing our work in Bayfield Ontario!  So if you are in the area the main street there is opening up for the artists to set up and show their work for Saturday and Sunday.  Maybe we will see you there!
